Paths

Same as it ever was

Is the same as it will ever be

My life is a worn down path

Through the forest of mystery

Though sometimes on the journey

Paths may come together for a time

Almost as suddenly as they met

They branch off to their designated end

But sometimes, if it has been planned

Two different lives

With two different paths

Shall meet together and form one

Life isn't as predetermined as this

Though at times it may seem so

For a great thing it is

To let things fall into place

The forest of the world is full of many paths

They run very close to one another

Though they may never meet

It doesn't mean they can't

It is always easier to fallow your path

Then to stray off of it into the unknown

A hard thing it is to leave that security

To give it all up for the luxury of choice

But if you can allow yourself to jump the trail

To venture through the world to find another path

Leave the world of conformity behind you

And a greater world you find you belong to
